Ladies, I encourage you to be mindful of dating a man that’s in jail/prison. You’ve got to ask yourself if they’re REALLY worth it. Before you accept a collect call, go visit them, send them packages or money, ask yourself why you’re doing this.
Don’t fool yourself, some men that are incarcerated have hidden agendas and mean you no good at all. They tell you what you WANT and NEED to hear, so they can reap the benefits of your wallet. PERIOD.
I’ve seen SO many women get played. When their man is released and/or paroled, they show their NATURAL ASS.
They sometimes leave these women once they get their freedom, abuse these women, or get these women caught up in situations that ultimately ruin their lives.
If you choose to be “down” with your man, be wise! Don’t allow loyalty to blind you from the truth.
